Hexarelin

Description

Hexarelin (Examorelin) is a synthetic hexapeptide growth hormone secretagogue (GHS) and one of the most potent GHS-R agonists studied in clinical research. It stimulates robust growth hormone release from the anterior pituitary through activation of the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a), producing a significantly stronger GH response than many other secretagogues. Beyond its GH-releasing properties, Hexarelin has been studied for cardioprotective effects mediated through a distinct receptor pathway (CD36/scavenger receptor), making it unique among GHS compounds. Research has demonstrated Hexarelin’s effects on cardiac function, coronary vasodilation, and myocardial protection independent of GH release.
