Description

GHRP-2 (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-2, also known as Pralmorelin) is a synthetic hexapeptide that acts as a potent agonist of the ghrelin/growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a). It is considered one of the most potent growth hormone releasing peptides in its class, stimulating substantial GH release from the anterior pituitary gland. GHRP-2 works by mimicking the endogenous ligand ghrelin, binding to GHS-R1a and triggering intracellular signaling cascades that culminate in GH vesicle release. In addition to GH release, GHRP-2 has been studied for its effects on appetite stimulation (via ghrelin pathway activation), cortisol modulation, and prolactin levels. It produces a more robust GH response than GHRP-6 and has been used extensively as a diagnostic tool for assessing GH deficiency. Supplied as a lyophilized powder. For research use only.
