Description

Tesamorelin is a synthetic analog of Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH) consisting of all 44 amino acids of human GHRH with an added trans-3-hexenoic acid group at the N-terminus. This modification enhances the peptide’s stability and resistance to enzymatic degradation while preserving its full GHRH receptor agonist activity. Tesamorelin stimulates the synthesis and pulsatile release of growth hormone from pituitary somatotroph cells through GHRH-R activation. It has been the subject of extensive clinical research, particularly for its effects on visceral adipose tissue reduction, lipodystrophy, and liver fat content. Tesamorelin is FDA-approved for HIV-associated lipodystrophy and has been studied in research settings for its effects on cognitive function and metabolic parameters. Supplied as a lyophilized powder. For research use only.
